About
We started No Fixed Abode Club to gather people from all walks of life with one thing in common: a love of travel to seek creative inspiration.
Songwriters, illustrators, artists, chefs — from Ankara to San Juan to Essex — we drew people to a club who felt at home nowhere and everywhere. We met to share the places that changed us, believing that a mundane adventure can be as eye-opening as an epic trek.
The club went quiet for a while. The wandering didn't.
No Fixed Abode Club returns as the alter ego of The Place Bureau — the studio that works with people and places around the world to tell their stories of the future. This is what happens behind the scenes: the journeys and explorations to get to know a place. The photographs we make in the field, on the ground, for the love of being somewhere.
Each run of five prints is a small exhibition — held together by a place or a theme, released in editions of ten, printed by fine art printer The Print Space in East London on archival paper, and shipped worldwide.
Feeling at home anywhere, and belonging in no one place in particular, was always the No Fixed Abode Club vibe. These prints are for everyone who knows that feeling.
